Freddie

The real view from Freddie's desk.
As a freshman at Cardinal McCloskey MHS, in Albany, NY, Freddie first ventured into the field of creative writing. His essay on “How to Stay Awake…in English Class”, earned him the opportunity to submit another essay on a different topic, if he wanted a passing grade.
A couple of years later, he was Features Editor for the school newspaper, The Cardorama.
While in high school, Freddie co-hosted a weekly radio show, 4-H in Action, with John Welsh. It was aired on WOKO, Albany/Delmar,NY.
Freddie graduated from Cobleskill ATC with a degree in Animal Husbandry and a minor in Business.
The early ’60′s found Freddie raising beef cattle, dairy heifers and veal calves, along with working on a poultry/hog/truck garden farm in Glenmont,NY.
Agriculture, his first love, has almost always been involved in his transportation/logistics career.
